Rangers Clip Gaedels, 3-2, in DS Contest
Andres Anguiano pitched well, but the St. Louis Gaedels lost anyway, falling, 3-2, in extra innings to the Buffalo Rangers at Bison Stadium. With the win, Buffalo tied the best-of-7 Divisional Series at 1 games apiece. Anguiano was effective, giving the Gaedels 7.1 innings and allowing no runs.

In the bottom of the 15th, Abdel Laffita knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off St. Louis pitcher Brent Lannin.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said St. Louis manager Mak Dolnick.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Veeck Park in St. Louis.
