Almost There: Kansas City On Cusp of DS Triumph After 6-3 Win
Riding the 4-hit performance of center fielder D.J. Trigg, the Kansas City Athletics got a road win against the Denver Glaciers, 6-3, in Game 4 of the Divisional Series. Trigg was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Athletics, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Kansas City used a well-timed hit by Sean Waterhouse to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Athletics ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I really like what we did out there today," Trigg said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Missouri in Kansas City.
