Game 5 was big. So was Joshua Eyres.

The Las Vegas starter rose to the occasion at Minneapolis Grounds, leading the Aces to a crucial 3-1 victory over the Minneapolis Vikings. Eyres threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball as the Aces won on the road to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 Divisional Series.

Tan Tsung had a direct impact on the outcome. Tsung contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Las Vegas up, 3-1.

Eyres called the win a test of his team's "mettle."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Western Coliseum in Las Vegas.
