Home Loss Shrinks Aces Series Lead to 2-1
|
Already down in the Divisional Series, the Minneapolis Vikings put on their best show, beating the Las Vegas Aces by a final score of 4-3. Juan Carrizales was special. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Minneapolis now trails Las Vegas 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.
Minneapolis needed the clutch hitting of Dante Cuadra to seal the deal. The catcher swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Vikings on top, 4-3. For the game, Cuadra had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"We did a lot of things right," said Cuadra.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Western Coliseum in Las Vegas.
