Kodiaks Move on to Conference Championship
The Alaska Kodiaks "proved we can handle pressure" by beating the Divisional Series and eliminating the Los Angeles Stars, according to series MVP Alderaan Pike.

"This is the big stage, we're off to the Conference Championship and looking towards the League Championship," he said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of year and it's only going to get more intense from here. But I think we can handle it just fine."

Alaska won the final game 3-1, to wrap up the series 4-2.

Pike led his team to the series win by putting up a .364 average, with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Alaska Kodiaks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Las Vegas Aces - Minneapolis Vikings series. Las Vegas leads the series 3 games to 2. The Conference Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
