Tejeda Excels, But Kings Win
Alex Tejeda had a good game, but he could not keep the Washington Senators from falling, 12-5, to the Baltimore Kings at AT&T Park. The Washington left fielder hit 3 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored three times in the loss. The Kings improved to 28-28.

Early in the game, first baseman Harold Wicks had a bases-clearing triple for Baltimore. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Kings on top, 6-3.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
