Greens Win Nail-Biter, 7-6
Despite a great performance by Miami left fielder Alonzo Armijo, the Boston Greens defeated the Cyclones by the score of 7-6 in 12 innings at Kroger Stadium. Armijo went 4 for 6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 3 times. The winner in relief was Tien-kai Ec. He is now 3-4. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Their 28-27 record puts the Greens second in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division.

Jake Herman came through with a big-time hit for Boston. The first baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 7-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Herman. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
