Skidding Juggernauts Lose 6th Straight
|
Sony Field at Philadelphia was rocking after an exciting Spectres win.
The Philadelphia Spectres racked up a win at Sony Field at Philadelphia, bumping off the Toronto Juggernauts, 5-4. Uno Urquidez, who started for Philadelphia, pitched effectively for his team. Philadelphia's record now stands at 25-32, placing them 4th in the Eastern Conference Benito Cossutta Division.
Philadelphia got a knockout punch from Ron Gideon. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"This was a good win," said Gideon.
