Kansas City Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
The Los Angeles Stars trumped the Kansas City Athletics, 13-8, at Stars Ballpark. Los Angeles left fielder Jose Gonzales was terrific. He was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. The slumping Athletics have lost 6 straight.

Ramão Bizarro, who finished 3rd in the WC in triples with 9 in 2080, helped out the Los Angeles cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder drew 2 walks, while scoring 2.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Gonzales.
