A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Chicago Phantoms and Las Vegas Aces.

Ron Jollymour helped his team muscle past the Las Vegas Aces, 8-0. In the game, the Chicago shortstop was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Chicago now sports a record of 32-24.

Luis Valera had a big 2-run double for the Phantoms in the top of the sixth inning. With Chicago leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 2071 Rookie of the Year Award winner Cesar Lobatos and swatted a double to left. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Phantoms ahead, 4-0.
