Houston wasted an exceptional performance by designated hitter Ricky Zika, falling to the San Francisco Friars, 5-4. Zika threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. Salvatore Pino went 8 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits. The right-hander struck out 4 and walked 0. With the win, he's now 1-1 this season. Joe Drum sewed up the save, his 6th.
