Vikings Rally to Eke Out Win
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.

Minneapolis beat Kansas City at Minneapolis Grounds, escaping with a 6-5 win in 10 innings. The win in large part was due to designated hitter Gentaro Arakawa. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Minneapolis reliever Zee-loo Kim was the winner. His record is now 3-1. Roberto Patino took the loss.

The Vikings got a clutch hit from first baseman Leonilde Tigre. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Vikings.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Arakawa said.

The Vikings now have a mark of 38-18.
