Toronto designated hitter Matt Salmon contributed significantly to his team's 7-6 win over the Maine Lobster. Salmon, who is tied for 10th in the EC in total bases with 100, went 2 for 2 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Juggernauts. Toronto reliever Corey Kueck picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Eikki Hostikka absorbed the loss. Toronto goes to 24-30, Maine to 32-23.

The decisive blow was delivered by Victor Verdugo in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off former first round draft pick Eikki Hostikka to win the game for Toronto. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Salmon said.
