Vikings Win Thriller, 2-1
Minneapolis Grounds was host to some action-packed drama.

The Minneapolis Vikings had to overcome a good performance from Tucson pitcher Cody Sosnowski to claim a 2-1 win at Minneapolis Grounds. Sosnowski went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Jordan Zuniga earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 1-0.

Omar Ozoa was the walk-off hero for Minneapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vikings shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This game was intense," Ozoa said, postgame.

The win gives Minneapolis a record of 4-2.
