Murillo Helps Havana Bombard Miami
The Havana Metropolitanos cruised to a win over the Miami Cyclones, 15-4, at Estadio Latinoamericano. Mario Murillo led the way, going 3-for-4 for Havana. J.D. Haynes, 3-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Havana raised its record to 33-21 with the win.

With Havana leading 9-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Murillo came up to bat against Miami pitcher Luis Collaso. Murillo hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season put the Metropolitanos on top, 12-2.

Miami manager Chris Stephan said: "We'll rinse this one off and get ready for the next game."
