Rangers Deal Juggernauts 3-1 Loss
|
In a low-scoring game between the Buffalo Rangers and the Toronto Juggernauts, pitcher Jose Ruiz was masterful on the mound. The Buffalo right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-1 win. The winner was Ruiz. He threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Fisko Loera. Josh Trejo got the save, the 1st for him this season.
Willy Amavizca hit a run-scoring triple off Fisko Loera in the top of the fifth, which put the Rangers in front, 2-1. Amavizca had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.
