Kings Handed 5-3 Loss
|
The Los Angeles Stars knocked off the Baltimore Kings by the score of 5-3. Marty Avalos provided some pop, going 2-for-3 with 1 home run. Jimmy Oyola was the winner. He's now 4-2. The loser was 37-year old right-handed pitcher Bryan Walker. The Stars are now 25-28, while the Kings fall to 26-27.
Ray Brang, the Los Angeles catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 5-3, Stars. For the game, Brang went 1-3.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Avalos told the Los Angeles Gazette. "Whatever it takes."
