Phoenix Thunderbirds starter Eikki Hostikka took the mound against the Washington Senators at Legednary Park; and, when all was said and done, the left-hander led his team to an extra-inning, 5-3 win. With the win, Phoenix goes to 23-29, while the Senators fall to 24-29.

Phoenix got a knockout punch from Billy Morf. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Morf.
