Las Vegas pitcher Brian Burda had a large part in his team subduing the Tucson Toros, 8-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Las Vegas currently is in 4th place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division at 28-25.

Las Vegas used a well-timed hit by Reinprecht Mann to capture the win. The second baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Aces ahead, 6-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Things went our way," said Mann.
