4-2 Loss Extends Portland Skid
The Houston Aquas picked up a win at Tesoro Stadium, taking down the Portland Dragons, 4-2. Starting pitcher Axel Mendiola was a big reason why. Alex Mayorga earned the save for Houston, his 1st. The slumping Dragons have lost 6 straight.

Steve Strong chipped in a 2-run home run for Houston in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
