5-3 Win Sends Baltimore to 36-16
Baltimore registered a win at Ballpark of Missouri by beating the Kansas City Athletics, 5-3. Pitcher Motoaki Tajiri was one reason why the Kings triumphed. Kyohei Nishimoto picked up the save, his 4th. The Kings have an impressive 36-16 record.

Baltimore used the hitting of Harold Wicks to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Kings on top, 2-1. For the game, Wicks had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Baltimore manager Andrew Schweizer praised his team's "businesslike approach."
