Glaciers Earn Late 6-5 Win
The Glaciers grabbed a win, 6-5, at Staples Field, overcoming a fine effort from San Francisco pitcher Ricardo Then. Then went 5.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. The win belonged to Andino D'Elia in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Bernie Iglesias took the loss for San Francisco. Denver has run its win streak to 5 in a row.

Denver used a timely hit from Adam Wysocki to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Glaciers ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"You just play the game as right as you can and see where you end up," said Glaciers manager Todd Bleess.
