The Miami Cyclones stopped the Havana Metropolitanos, 10-6, at Kroger Stadium. The Cyclones got a big game from Chris Hodges, who went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Vicente Fuentes picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-8. He struck out 7 in 7.1 innings. The save went to Nestor Fajardo, his 4th this season.

With Miami trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Hodges hit a sinker from Chih Lum for a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 2-1.

When asked about his performance after the game, Hodges said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."

With the win over Havana, the Cyclones improved to 23-27.
