Miami got a first-rate effort from pitcher Matt Pinette, who frustrated Buffalo hitters en route to a 2-1 Cyclones triumph at Kroger Stadium. Pinette got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 2 hits and walked 3 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Miami, at 24-28, holds down third place in the Eastern Conference Paul Pagac Division.
