The Philadelphia Spectres picked up a win at Ballpark of Portland, knocking off the Maine Lobster, 4-3. On the mound for Philadelphia was right-hander Gary Banks. He played a key role in the triumph. In 6.1 innings, Banks surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. He allowed 3 runs. Warren Dooks was credited with the save for Philadelphia, his 21st of the season.
