Cyclones Lose Despite Valiant Effort by Kitano
The Montreal Harfangs weathered a fine game by Miami catcher Koson Kitano to upend the Cyclones, 18-12, at Mount Royal Park. Kitano went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 6. Huggy Bruce came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 9-2. Montreal is now 95-64.
