Montreal parlayed a decent outing from starter Antonio Avellaneda into a solid win over the Santiago Avispas. The final score was 4-3. The Harfangs saw their record improve to 88-70.

Freddy Gonzales was the walk-off hero for Montreal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Harfangs third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
