Extra-Inning Win by Browns Over Avispas
The Brooklyn Browns topped the Santiago Avispas, 3-2, in 11 innings at Brown Town. The game was highlighted by the performance of Brooklyn pitcher Jose Cruz. The Browns now own a record of 74-83.

The decisive blow was delivered by Alex Bran in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Raudel Hernandez to win the game for Brooklyn. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was our day today," Bran told the Brooklyn Today. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
