Spectres Nip Greens, 4-3
|
The Boston Greens got a sterling performance from pitcher Frank Ulloa, but the Philadelphia Spectres still prevailed, 4-3. Ulloa threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Alberto Zamora was called on to finish, recording his 6th save. The third-place Spectres are 27-23.
Fernando Malleta, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2076 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Malleta contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Philadelphia up, 3-1.
"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Spectres manager Ryan Huff.
