Rangers Rally to Win
|
Buffalo Rangers starter Gerald Tanton turned in an exceptional performance against the Toronto Juggernauts at Bison Stadium, resulting in a Buffalo win, 4-2. Buffalo goes to 91-66. The win puts them 12½ games up in their division.
Jose Puga, who is tied for 7th in the EC in stolen bases with 32, chipped in a 3-run home run for Buffalo in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.
"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Tanton told the Buffalo Gazette.
