Pontes hits 15th home run in Las Vegas Win
Venceslau Pontes made an impact in the 12-6 Las Vegas win over Chicago. Pontes, who is tied for 6th in the WC in runs scored with 102, went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The first-place Aces now have a win-loss record of 86-71.

With Las Vegas leading 4-3 in the top of the fourth, Pontes hit a fastball from Vismay Falcon for a 3-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Aces ahead, 7-3.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Pontes.
