The Minneapolis Vikings faced a tough opponent in Los Angeles pitcher Roberto Davila, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Minneapolis Grounds by a final score of 5-4. Davila went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. At 92-65, the Vikings have a slim two-game lead in the Western Conference Duviel Zaldivar Division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Minneapolis shortstop Omar Ozoa, facing Jose Bustamante, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Vikings the 5-4 win.
