Vikings Curb Kings, 4-3
|
Benjamin Jones, the 21st overall pick in the 2080 draft, propelled his team to victory over the Baltimore Kings. The final score was 4-3, Minneapolis. Zee-loo Kim notched his 10th save of the season. The Vikings now have a record of 26-24 with the win over Baltimore.
Bobby Aguinaga had a big 2-run home run for the Vikings in the bottom of the third inning. With Minneapolis leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a cutter from Rocco Porcaro, who is tied for 9th in the EC in innings pitched with 61.2, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Vikings on top, 4-0.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Jones. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
