Starting pitcher Stuart Stephenson gave the Baltimore Kings a rock-solid effort. The Berwick-upon-Tweed, England native helped his team defeat the Tucson Toros, 3-2, at Aetna Stadium. Baltimore is now 25-25, Tucson 21-29.

Danny Rubio, who is the 8th-best prospect in the Kings organization, had a direct impact on the outcome. Rubio contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put Baltimore up, 3-0.

"Stuart is a tough competitor," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
