Spectres Walk Off with 3-2 Win
|
The Philadelphia Spectres topped the Maine Lobster, 3-2, with catcher Che Gainza playing a big role. Gainza hit 2 home runs for the Spectres in the win. Philadelphia currently is in last place in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division at 66-87.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Gainza hit a fastball from Alcides Zaldivar for a solo home run. The Spectres, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"What a buzz," said Gainza after it was over.
