Sosa Lifts Athletics to 10-4 Triumph
The Kansas City Athletics downed the Las Vegas Aces, 10-4, at Ballpark of Missouri. Henry Sosa led the way, going 2-for-4 for Kansas City. Mark Curry, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. With the win, the Athletics have a record of 29-22.

Sosa had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Athletics went on to win.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Sosa.
