Aces Stick Arrows with 9-8 Loss
The Las Vegas Aces had to overcome a big game from Seattle first baseman Jin-soo Shinn to leave Western Coliseum with a victory. And they did, winning, 9-8. Shinn was 3-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Cruz Ponce earned save number 15 this season. Las Vegas sits in first place in the Western Conference Eastin Division at 29-22.

Las Vegas went up, 9-8, on Reinprecht Mann's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Mann hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Seattle pitcher Yoichibei Inouye muttering to himself.

"At the end of the day, wins and losses are really the only thing that matters," said Mann.
