The Miami Cyclones defeated the Maine Lobster, 11-4, in part because of center fielder Joy-shan Yue. Yue was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Cyclones. Ed Rice was the winner. He's now 2-2. The loser was 28-year old left-handed pitcher Chris Maxwell. Miami goes to 22-27, Maine to 32-18.
Chris Hodges, who is on pace for 109 RBI this season, chipped in a 2-run home run for Miami in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
