The Los Angeles Stars beat the Chicago Phantoms, 4-3. Los Angeles pitcher and Nashville, Tennessee, native Kingsley Bozek led the way. Bozek got the win, improving to 6-4. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 3 runs. The second-place Stars hiked their record to 30-20.
