Victory Over Senators Takes Minneapolis to 33-16
|
The Minneapolis Vikings got a magnificent performance from pitcher Vismay Falcon, who muffled the Washington offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Vikings win at Minneapolis Grounds. Zee-loo Kim locked down his 15th save. Minneapolis raised its record to 33-16 with the win.
The Vikings got a big at-bat from catcher Dante Cuadra. For the game, Cuadra was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Minneapolis a 2-1 lead.
"We put together a nice win," Cuadra said.
