Higby Excels in 9-6 Santiago Win
Santiago left fielder David Higby was a significant contributor in his team's 9-6 triumph over the Philadelphia Spectres. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 5 for the Avispas. Santiago reliever Alex Mijangos got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Steve Jennifer was tagged with the loss. The Avispas sit in first place in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division with a record of 34-14.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Avispas grabbed the lead when Higby hit his 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Divino Aljeroz made it 9-6, Santiago.
