The Montreal Harfangs picked up a win at Mount Royal Park, knocking off the Toronto Juggernauts, 6-4. Starting pitcher D.J. Harkins played a key role in the triumph. Harkins, now 3-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 4, and allowing no runs. Montreal is now 13-35.

Ruben Zertuche had a big 2-run home run for the Harfangs in the bottom of the second inning. With Montreal leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a forkball from Antonio Avellaneda, who finished 5th in the EC in strikeouts with 239 in 2072, and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Harfangs on top, 4-0.
