Twins Suffer 7-5 Road Loss
The home crowd had a good time watching the Cincinnati Twins and Los Angeles Stars get after it.

The Los Angeles Stars downed the Cincinnati Twins, 7-5. The hitting star was third baseman Dennis Videaux. Videaux went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Stars. The win went to Cody Goings in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Bryan Szabo took the loss.

Danny Serrano had a big 2-run double for the Stars in the bottom of the first inning. With Los Angeles leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Bryan Szabo and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Stars ahead, 4-0.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Los Angeles skipper Pat Kaers. "It's important to have different ways to do it."

The Stars, at 29-18, sit in first place in the Western Conference Najera Division.
