The Chicago Phantoms and Houston Aquas played an exciting game.

The Chicago Phantoms had to overcome a fine effort from Houston pitcher Antonio Equihua to win, 4-2, at Tesoro Stadium. Equihua went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Simone Banatoni recorded his 1st save for Chicago.

Luis Callejas came through with a big-time hit for Chicago. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Callejas called the win a testament to his team's "grit."

The loss drops Houston to 3-2.
