Greens Trounce Juggernauts, 12-3
|
Boston pitcher Shaun Chugh had a large part in his team beating the Toronto Juggernauts, 12-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The third-place Greens hiked their record to 23-23.
The Greens got a gift in the top of the first inning, when they were leading 1-0. With one out and the bases loaded, Nelson Garcia reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-0, Boston.
"Shaun did a really nice job of taking the ball and giving us a chance to win the game," said Boston manager Matt Glazer.
