The Washington Senators racked up a win at The ESPN Zone, bumping off the Los Angeles Stars, 5-3, in 10 innings. Xiong Loh, who started for Washington, pitched effectively for his team. Washington sits in third place in the Eastern Conference Zounes Kamuzu Division at 22-24.

Washington got a knockout punch from Zheng-ze Gu. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Loh said.
