Spectres Stop Cyclones, 10-5
|
Philadelphia left fielder Mike McKasson had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Miami Cyclones, 10-5. McKasson picked up 1 single and 1 double in the ballgame. The third-place Spectres lifted their record to 26-20.
Ron Gideon had a big run-scoring double for the Spectres in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Philadelphia leading 6-5 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from fan favorite Kazune Kimoto and swatted a double to left. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Spectres ahead, 7-5.
"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
