Juggernauts Win Thriller, 3-1
|
The Toronto Juggernauts had to weather a strong performance from Boston pitcher Frank Ulloa before claiming a 3-1 win in 11 innings. Ulloa went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Toronto reliever Pablo Lara picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Juan Colleano absorbed the loss. Toronto, at 20-25, occupies 4th place in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.
Toronto got a clutch hit from Luis Bracero. The center fielder launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"This joint was rocking," said Bracero.
