Juggernauts Take Down Browns, 7-6
The Toronto Juggernauts beat the Brooklyn Browns, 7-6, at Molson Park. Hiromu Murakami, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Toronto pitcher Fabian Estrada got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Harold Ruspoli got the loss. Ignacio Noriega sewed up the save, his 10th.

Had Steve Dunn not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Dunn hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Juggernauts.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Brooklyn manager Jason Cormier. "But we decided not to take it."

With this game in the books, Toronto is 18-26, Brooklyn 18-26.
