Though he had a stellar game, Jose Diaz could not prevent his team, the Montreal Harfangs, from losing, 8-4, to the Maine Lobster. Diaz went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk. Maine reliever Rikio Kaneko snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jeans Rabasa shouldered the loss. The loss makes Montreal 11-33.

Jacob Testaverde had a big 2-run home run for the Lobster in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Maine leading 6-4 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Ryan Guse, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2081, and punished it. The result was his 12th home run of the season, which put the Lobster on top, 8-4.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Montreal manager Brendan Henry.
