Victors Again, Chicago Win Streak at 9

The Chicago Phantoms topped the Tucson Toros, 7-2, at Foster Field. Chicago shortstop Ron Jollymour was a spark plug for the offense. He went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The winning continues for Chicago, with the latest triumph making it 9 straight.
The Phantoms got a big at-bat from right fielder Zhong-shan Geng. For the game, Geng went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Chicago a 2-1 lead.
"The guys are feeling pretty good about where they're at right now," said Phantoms manager Sam J. "We have a lot of guys playing with confidence."
