The Portland Dragons put together a convincing win at Portland Park, defeating the Seattle Arrows, 11-2. Chotaro Okada was one of the hitting stars. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Portland. Portland now has a record of 3-2.

With Portland leading 8-2 in the bottom of the eighth, Okada came up to bat against Seattle pitcher Jim Morgan. Okada hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Dragons on top, 11-2.
