The Washington Senators topped the Portland Dragons, 4-3, in Eastern Conference action at The ESPN Zone. The standout performance belonged to Washington pitcher and Sherbrooke, Canada, native Lou Foster. Washington is now 21-23.

Jeff Crandall aided the Washington cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk.
